The weather forecast for 18th of July 2017 predicted a beautiful and sunny day so we decided to take a short trip to the inner part of Oslofjord called Bunnefjorden, in the municipality of Nesodden in Akershus
Langøyene were originally two islands, Nordre Langøy and Søndre Langøy but, when the municipality of Kristiania bought the islands in 1902 the strait between them was filled with garbage deposits so today’s island is in the shape of big letter H.
In place of where the sound between the two islands used to be, there is now a big playground. Occasionally there are concerts and other events at Langøyene.
Langøyene can be reached by ferry line no. B4 from City Hall Pier 4, which goes all summer and takes you to the east side of the island. The Ruter ticket for zone 1 is valid.
This is the only one of the islands closest to Oslo where you can camp as long as you follow the rules like no open fire.
Our original plan was to take a swim but the water was too cold for me, and Debeli struggled with jellyfish.
There were a bunch of them and they were huge. So we ended up just reading books (me) and sleeping (Debeli).
The island has a, rather smelly outdoor toilet and a small kiosk where you can buy pølse med brød, water, juice, coffee…everything for double the price in the city. Because island.
LANGØYENE OTOK
Vremenska prognoza za taj utorak 18. srpnja 2017. godine bilo je sunčano i toplo, pa smo se odlučili na kratki izlet do dijela Oslofjorda pod nazivom Bunnefjorden, u općini Nesodden, županija Akershus.
Langøyene su originalno bila dva otoka, sjeverni i južni otok, no kad je općina Kristianija 1902. godine kupila otoke mali prolaz između zatvorili su hrpom smeća tako da današnji izgled otoka podsjeća na slovo H.
Tamo gdje je nekad bio prolaz između otoka sad se nalazi veliko igralište za odbojku ili nogomet iako se tu znaju održavati i koncerti i slični eventi.
Do otoka se može doći trajektom br B4 s pristaništa 4 na Aker Briggeu, a linija vozi cijelo ljeto te vas doveze na istočnu stranu otoka. Za prijevoz vrijedi ruterova karta za prvu zonu.
Inače, ovo je jedini od otoka u zaljevu koji je najbliži gradu Oslu, a da na njemu možete kampirati i ostati preko noći, naravno ako slijedite upute o paljenju vatre na otvorenom. Pravila, pravila….ccccc
