There was few must do during the Full Irish road trip. One was to have a night over in a castle. That was my idea. The other was sleeping in gypsy wagons And that wasn’t my idea 🙂
The boring Irish rain was following us all the way from Dingle to CurlyWurly Glamping site. It did not come to an end for a second. Not even when we stopped for visit to the small graveyard in Caherelly.
Home to some amazing singers and writers but also whiskey and gin distillery that provides the gin for the local ice cream shop. Back in 2018 in Dublin we had the chance to try the ice cream. Now was the time to visit the shop in situ.Â
When we researched the destinations, many have suggested doing the scenic drive around the Iveragh Peninsula in southwest Ireland’s County Kerry.
Most of our time spent in the car throughout of the Irish road trip was during M midday naps. Our whole plan was created around that activity and locations were set based on their distance. He needed his naps, we needed our quiet time and all of us needed to travel from point A to B. Perfect! Ready, set, go!
Located in the South-East Region, province of Leinster, Kilkenny was the first stop on our road trip through Ireland.
Since our first road trip as a family went successfully we were determined to try our chances once again.
