There was few must do during the Full Irish road trip. One was to have a night over in a castle. That was my idea. The other was sleeping in gypsy wagons And that wasn’t my idea 🙂
Curlywurly Glamping is a family run self-catering accommodation with several gypsy wagons and Shepard huts to sleep over.
Each of the huts and wagons are equipped with beds and phone charging points.
The guest can use the outdoor kitchen, dining room, sensory room and toilets with shower.
As many eggs one collects from the henhouse during the stay is included in breakfast price.
We definitely took up on the offer.
The site has a barbecue, several sitting areas, both indoor and outdoor and a children playground area.
If it wasn’t for the constant rain that followed us all the way from Dingle to Kilcoole the experience would be so much more enjoyable.
But on the other hand, because of the rain, all of the other guests cancelled their stay so we were the only one on the site.
It crossed our mind several time to cancel the because of the rain, and just go straight to some B&B in Limerick. But we never said it out loud. And we definitely never did it. We got to enjoy CurlyWurly alone in the beautiful Irish landscape.
Unpacking and getting ready in the wagon for a night with rain on and off and a busy toddler was a truly challenging experience.
But the morning after when the sun came out, was worthwhile the stay and a short walk in the middle of the night for a pee. Yap, that was me 🙂
There’s many animals to feed and pet on the site and the lady owner of Curlywurly was kind to introduce us to all of them.
All of them set and ready for a morning feed. Just as we were but a pint was waiting for us in Limerick.
