Malaga is not a not just sweet wine and raisins flavored ice cream that I just adore, it’s a second largest city in Spanish province of Andalusia and it was our next to last leg of the Italian – Spanish holidays in 2023.
EATING IN SEVILLA
If you ever traveled to Spain, it was hard to miss all present tapas portions of food. Sometimes served as a full dish portion, but mostly smaller portions of many and various tapas dishes have marked Spanish cuisine. It was no different with Andalusian cuisine that we enjoyed during the visit to the cities of Sevilla, Cordoba and Malaga.
JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA
When Ryanair changed our departure flight from Torino to Sevilla it was a bit of disappointment that quickly turned in dealignment. We will have another day in Sevilla and we could use that day for visiting the surroundings.
SEVILLA
Years back, when Debeli and I visited Madrid, I remember someone saying, must have been a friend of a friend, that we should visit Andalusia. He swore there was no better place in Spain when it came to architecture, art or food.
Years passed and that idea was just stuck in the back of my head, until finally, last year I managed to add this Spanish jewel into our trip itinerary.

IN GIRO // Barolo
Situated some 60 kilometers south from Capriglio, was our first destination of the day.

STAVANGER
It’s no secret that we haven’t traveled Norway as much as we would like to. Apart from short city brakes to Drøbak, Drammen or Tønsberg, we still haven’t seen the west coast, the North or the South. To be completely honest, it’s crazy expensive to travel anywhere in Norway. And with long and hard winters, we always prefer to travel somewhere warm. But….last year we did several short trips around Norway.
