The trip to Tallinn was unplanned and spontaneous to that extent that I had somewhat of a plan what to visit, but then I left that plan at home. Three days of casual sightseeing of the old town and plenty of food.
TRIPPA ALLA MILANESE
Everybody knows that Italians are big gourmets and food lovers, but only when it comes to their own, Italian, cuisine. Pizzas, pasta, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, garlic and various aromatic herbs (basil, rosemary, oregano) are just some of the few ingredients out of what you can prepare simple and fast meal.

TRIP ALLA MILANESE // seconda parte
The second day in Milan started with a typical Italian breakfast and ended with a fancy dinner. Why? Well it was my birthday 😀 What did we eat you will read in a special post dedicated to Milanese cuisine.
TRIP ALLA MILANESE / prima parte
I do not know about you, but my birthday is always at the same time. In the end of January, which is not the best time to travel, but when you live in northern Europe then any trip to the south is more than welcoming. So, I booked us a trip to Milan, Italy.
DRØBAK AQUARIUM
After a visit to the Oscarsborg fortress we came back to Drøbak; a small town in Oslofjord with some 13 000 inhabitants. It used to be the winter harbor of Oslo when during harsh winters the fjord would freeze from outside Drøbak all the way up to the capital. Today it is a very popular tourist spot not just for foreigners but also for Norwegians.
OSCARSBORG FESTNING
The weather forecast for that Saturday (27th of may 2017) was sunshine so we decided to take a short trip to an island in the Oslo fjord. We discovered that the local boat line B21 departs from Aker Brygge every weekend at 10 am so we packed our bathing suits and sandwiches and took of. Unfortunately, we weren’t the only ones with the bright idea.
