Home to some amazing singers and writers but also whiskey and gin distillery that provides the gin for the local ice cream shop. Back in 2018 in Dublin we had the chance to try the ice cream. Now was the time to visit the shop in situ.
This small port town with a long history that dates back in the Norman times has a population of little over 1500 inhabitants.
Most of them are involved in fishing, agriculture and tourism industry.
During the summer, the city is crowded with people passing by or stopping for a couple of days to enjoy the rugged scenery and windy beaches for kite surfing.
We are not much of a surfers, ya know? And we already got to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Dingle peninsula, so much of our time we spent just enjoying walks, drinks and fish & chips.
Fish was not only on our meny. It was also the point of our interest in the local aquarium full of cute and colorful creatures.
Described as bohemian, artistic, and friendly Dingle was a kind host to us, so if you every find yourself in the near make sure to not miss it out.
